About

Wesley Allen | Owner

Nashburg Recording Studio is owned and operated by Wes Allen. Allen, a native of the central Alabama area, has been in the music industry since his early teens. Taught piano by his grandmother at age 6, he now plays over a dozen instruments including: piano, guitar, bass, dobro, mandolin, banjo, organ, mountain dulcimer, harmonica, and more. He has been involved in music engineering, production, and songwriting since starting a small studio at his childhood home at age 16.

Wes has garnered numerous musical accolades over the years. These include being the 2013 and 2014 Alabama state champion Dobro player and first place in the group category at the Nashville A&G Entertainment Talent Search. Wes has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Southern Gospel music such as: The Bowling Family, 11th Hour, The Dixie Echoes, The Florida Boys, New Ground, Three Bridges, and The Griffith Family. His background includes a wide variety of styles: country, bluegrass, southern gospel, gospel, and classic rock.

Seeing a lack of Nashville quality studios in an area with Nashville caliber musicians and singers, in 2016 Wes set out to create a recording studio. With the sound of Nashville, Nashburg Recording Studio was born in Childersburg, Alabama. Combining a formal training in both information technology and music studies, Nashburg is not only a great studio acoustically, but also just as advanced technically. With top-of-the-line recording gear, the great sound coming from within the studio is perfectly replicated in a pristine digital recording ready to use however needed.
